Hindustan Institute of Engineering Technology located at Padappai, Chennai has been recognized as the best Aircraft Maintenance Engineering College for their contribution for Educational service in the field Civil Aviation. The award was presented on 18thJanuary 2023 as part of the 14th Annual International Conference held in New Delhi, by the Civil Aviation Minister Mr. Jyotiraditya M Sc india.

This prestigious award was presented as part of the 14th Annual International Conference cum awards organised by ASSOCHAM along with the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India were the best performers for various categories were recognized and felicitated for their contribution to Civil Aviation and Tourism in India. The 2022 Annual Award winners were chosen by a panel of eminent judges from the leading industry, professional and well-known personalities from a variety of backgrounds. They collectively gone through rigorous judging process and chosen in the award categories that includes testimonials, industry assessment and other relevant areas.

Dr. Anand Jacob Verghese, Chairman, Hindustan Group of Institutions said, “We are honoured that ASSOCHAM has recognized our distinctive Aircraft Maintenance Engineering program and the people who helped build this program. The award was handed over by Mr. Jyotiraditya M Scindia, Minister of Civil Aviation. HIET Aviation College, under the able leadership of its Chairman, Dr.Anand Jacob Verghese, is one of the leading Aircraft Maintenance Engineering College approved by the Director General of Civil Aviation, New Delhi.
