Course Content

Cat C Familiarization – Airbus320 & Boeing 737NG
Course Objective
This course is in compliance with EASA Part-66, Appendix III “Type Training and Examination Standard.” The participant will acquire aircraft type-related knowledge necessary to issue a certificate of release to service (CRS) following base maintenance for the type of aircraft stated in the course title. It provides a brief overview of the airframe, systems and powerplant as outlined in the systems description section of the aircraft maintenance manual.
Target Group
Graduate from an Aero Engineering Program or graduate from an engineering program seeking employment in an engineering program office of an Aircraft Maintenance Organization (AMO).Technical personnel associated with aircraft maintenance or engineering activities, support staff in the maintenance environment
Prerequisites
Basic technical English and basic technical aircraft knowledge.
Duration
4-5 Days (In-Class theory)
Objectives
Upon completion of Level 1 training, the student will be able to:
(a) provide a simple description of the whole subject, using common words and examples, using typical terms and identify safety precautions related to the airframe, its systems and powerplant;
(b) identify aircraft manuals, maintenance practices important to the airframe, its systems and powerplant;
(c) define the general layout of the aircraft’s major systems;
(d) define the general layout and characteristics of the powerplant;
(e) Identify special tooling and test equipment used with the aircraft.
Completion Standard
Minimum participation: 90%
Minimum pass mark per examination: 75%

DGCA to EASA Licence Conversion
Course Objective
This 50-Day Course is designed to prepare DGCA certified AMEs to successfully pass the required Module examination required to seek and secure an EASA Part-66 Licence. All examinations would be administered during the course.
Who Should attend
DGCA Certified AMEs seeking employment within a part-145 EASA Approved, or DGCA Approved AMO or MRO.

Training Objective
This training is meant to allow DGCA Certified AMEs to gain “On-aircraft” experience required to seek and secure aircraft Type endorsement on a EASA Part-66 Licence. Such licensing allows the holder, when certified & qualified, to sign-off aircraft maintenance work for the purpose of return to service and/or heavy maintenance work release.
