Pongal is a harvest festival, a traditional occasion for giving thanks to nature. HIET has celebrated Pongal on 12th of January at Padappai campus. It was joyous and filled our days ahead with happiness. The pongal was cooked in a new pot at auspicious time followed by the pooja. The staff members of both Polytechnic and AME were present on the function. Pongal was offered to all the staff members.
